My boyfriend was sick last week, can i still get sick?

I'm 15, we don't live together lol. he was sick with the stomach virus last week while he was upstate at his grandmas he got better before he got home. Now he's home and we are going to hang out tonight can i still get sick? If we kiss and stuff?
