What do people think of the ipad?

When i read the specs i thought i was mistaken.No usb,no flash,no multitasking no HDMI out just to name a few.What do people use it for.I still havent seen a person using it yet.And whats with the name.Why didnt apple just make the handheld laptop that they said they would.I will answer my own question.They already have and just released this to make money.If it has slightly improved your life or is it another gimmick
