What is a good no contract phone to get that fits my needs?

I like the I phone but I believe you need a contract. I like phones with apps and the internet, an easy to use keyboard either real key board or touch. I also want it to be able to receive ring tones from the internet too. If it takes great pics that would be even more sweeeet. I have virgin mobile wild card and it sucks. Please and thanks.
