Any home remedies for my dog's bleeding chin?

My English Mastiff has a problem with acne under her chin (diagnosed by a vet). Over the last month or so she's gotten into the habit of scratching her chin, or bumping it, and the acne bumps start bleeding. She doesn't seem to be in any pain, doesn't flinch when I examine her, but I would like to know if there's any home remedy's that can relieve the problem? This a question you have to answer for your self. I had a 2004 F-150 that was gutless pulling a 3000lbs. trailer. I got 8 TO 10 MPG With it ,OH Yeah, it was a ger. I now have a 2004 Dodge 4x4 2500 W/a mins Diesel. I get 14 to 16 while towing the same trailer. I Don't have to down shift on every off or on ramp , hill or rise in the highway I get 23mpg Highway & 17.4 combined . I use the truck as my main transportation. The Ford got 17 on the road & 12-13 in town. The mins will run for 400,000 The ford was finished at 124,000. The ford had to have the oil changed every 3500 mi. The mins will go 7000. Diesel is 40-50 cents higher than gas. Think about this. FORD, 24 GAL Tank AT 17MPG = 408 miles. DODGE 35 GAL Tank AT 23MPG= 782 miles. There is a big trade off here. In the long run the savings are worth it. IT'S your call. I Drove Fords for twenty years. They are a good Vehicle . Check out thier diesel & GM's as well. Do NOT ,,,DO NOT buy the JEEP .You will be buying the best friend a MOPAR mechanic ever had.

Does today's society need to bring back the good old days of our children when they misbehave?

Oh, definitely! When I was a kid, if I did something wrong, I was ed for it! I guarantee you I never did the same wrong thing twice, becuase I knew that there would be consequences. There are no consequences for children who are not disciplined these days. What's taking away t.v. for one night going to do? Nothing. What's reasoning with a kid going to do but teach them that they can talk and reason their way out of the punishment that they deserve? My parents loved me enough and cared enough about the kind of person that I was going to grow up to be to discipline me. I am very thankful for that. When I was in the wrong, or off track, discipline was what I needed, and discipline (by a good old fashioned with a leather belt), is what I received. People can sit here and wonder all they want why there's all of these school shootings and violence and kids getting into trouble, but the solution always comes back to the home life. Kids need parents to be their parents, not their friends. Believe it or not, kids, especially teenagers crave the guidlines and discipline that parents should give them. If they're not disciplined and kept on track, then the kid thinks, that their parent doesn't care about them, that it doesn't matter what they do and so what's the point about worrying about it. I think that there is a direct correlation between not and disciplining and the way that kids act today as far as violence goes. These children who are not disciplined don't think that there's going to be any consequences or they don't care if there are going to be! I say down with the pop phsycology and left wing anti- movement. Whoever thinks that ing for discipline (not inexcess to the point of an unneccessary beating, but just two or three good wacks for something your child does seriously wrong) is full of crap in my opinion, and I truly feel sorry for their children. People need to step up, be parents and discipline their children. I guarantee you that this would solve a good majority of the teen delinquency and violence problems in today's society, and the problem with bratty kids who get everything they want and can do whatever they want and control their parents more or less. It's time for people to step up and start caring enough about their kids and the people that they are going to grow up to be to discipline them and set a firm, straight foundation for their lives. Bottom line is, parents need to be parents. Guess I should add that the fact that my parents loved me enough to discipline me by ( and I guarantee that I never did the same wrong thing after receiving a for something), did not leave me with any "emotional trauma" or "mental scarring". All of that crap is just that - a big huge smelly crock of crap. What it left ME with was a deep respect for my parents and authority and the ability to differentiate between right and wrong. I love my parents all the more for caring enough about me to set me straight!

Are there any organizations that I can sign a sick horse over to. I cannot afford the treatment she needs.?

I have a 10 month old filly that has been diagnosed with either EPM or wobblers. The only way that they can tell for sure is to have her get a myleogram. Unfortunately, I cannot afford this treatment for her. If she doesn't get a myleogram to pinpoint what is wrong with her then she will have to be put down. I simply cannot handle that and would like for her to have a chance at living if she can be treated. I haven't stopped crying since we got her bloodwork back and the thought of having to euthanize her just tears me up. I am in Fort Worth, Texas if anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it.

Sounds like you are angry. You are taking it out on your female companion. Find healthy ways to let go of the anger...excersice, dancing (the best), jogging, go were you can talk about your anger. Maybe a therapist or a good freind. SOmeone that will listen and not judge. You are very young. Maybe she isn't the one. Do you feel that you can talk to her? Can you talk to her about your anger of your losses? You need to be able to do that with your significant other, or at least have someone you can do that with. "The One" should be your best freind. You can tell that person anything and they will love you no matter what. Do you feel that way with her? All I really read is that yo think she is beautiful. All that attracts you to her is her exterior? Not Good. You have to love her beyond that. It isn't fair to her either. You maybe afraid of letting her go, becasue of the losses you have already endoured. Why would you want to go through that again? It is tough. There will be lots of pain but if you stay in the wrong relationship there will be more pain then you ever imagined. On the other hand working on your anger as I listed above may even make your relationship grow stronger. None the less you must work on the anger part.

How many work hours per week is too much before burnout?

I've a 35 min commute to work each day, and I usually work 9-7pm every day, sometimes more (like 55-60 hours per week), occasionally a little less (like 42 hours is a great week but rare). It's been like this for several years and I'm getting tired of it... and it seems like everybody I know works less. I'm worried about whether I'd be able to have kids and be a mom with this job - it would be impossible to leave at 5 or 5:30. Nobody in my office has kids, so everybody works these hours or longer. How do people do it? And sorry to sound whiny, but it's been a rough day! :)

How do I deal with my boyfriends rude teen-age daughter?

We have been dating for 1 1/2 years, his 15 year old daughter is admittedly spoiled, but her rudeness and disrespectful attitude towards me is unbearable. On our last visit (as described above) she even asked him "did I behave well". I don't know if I'm crazy or if she is a manipulative BRAT! My boyfriend is very sensitive and she is Daddys girl, he waits on her hand and foot and sees his sweet little innocent girl. She has openly declared (in my house, in front of my kids and guests), that I am a *****, that he and I should break up, and believes that she can dictate her Dad and my relationship. Am I coughing up something other that phlegm?

I've been sick for about a week but the cough was a secondary symptom. I've had it for a few days and it is a deep cough. I've been to the doctor and they gave me an inhaler, which I may be allergic to since I broke out into hives after I used it a few times. I am now coughing up phelgm but nothing I have every experienced before...it's kind of freaking me out. The phelgm in white, long, thin and spaghetti like. Nothing really strange going on: most like good hygiene and a few are into what you might call filth. Just about everyone appreciates "mansmells" which doesn't mean bad hygiene.....just that we want to smell him, not cologne or deodorant. I shower before a date but don't use deodorant cuz I like my pits munched. You can ask a partner to not use deodorant for that reason - or say you are allergic. Melding your bodies, odors & fluids is normal, not weird.

Anyone ever made their own beef jerky in a dehydrator? Any suggestions?

We have made jerky a couple of different ways. You can slice your meat about 1/4" thick, marinate in a liquid marinade in a ziplock bag at least overnight and put in the dehydrator. Another option is to grind your meat into burger but keep as much fat OUT of it as possible, mix in seasoning, which can be dry, wet or a mixture of both. Either use a jerky press to flatten into pieces or roll between 2 sheets of foil, slice and put in dehydrator. This method does not require overnight seasoning. We use teriyaki sauce a lot. If you go to the website for Liquid Smoke they have a bunch of seasoning recipes there. You can also buy seasoning packets in grocery store and meat markets. Dry until jerky pieces feel dry to the touch and bend but not break.

Also, the Gospels were not written by the disciples but by appointees of the King and have taken many stories from earlier religions like "of immaculate birth"/ "rising from the dead"/ "walking on water" all of which are well doented in Hindusim and Buddhism which have been around for 1000's of years before Christ. Also, Christianity is one of the youngest religions yet it states that everyone who does not believe in JC goes to hell so for 1000's of years before JC every soul went to hell??? And it says that a serial killer can go to heaven if on his death bed he accepts JC and yet a social worker will go to hell if he does good work all his life but does not accept JC as his Savior. Anyone with half a brain knows this is total BS. Thats why today I have embraced Buddhism since its the only religion that does not define God. It says that there is a Higher Power but you can forge a one on one relationship with this Power and no man, no book, no parent, no preacher, no historical event, no future prognostication has any business telling you how to love, connect with, obey, be inspired by your Higher Power. Jamie: I cannot do that as I have to have a drug test first. he wants me to give a two week notice by next tuesday and e mail him to that effect by tuesday. a previous co-worker of mine was offerred a position at the same place and failed the drug test, which was no surrprise to me. She gave notice to our employer first and technically was left without a job. She lucked out as our employer took her back as she had connections at this Steel Mill that gave our company more work. My case is different and I am not worried about ping as far as illegal drugs, just all the meds I am on. I take narcotic pain med and cannot go without it due to severe disk disease....also on b-p meds and other that I mentioned already. Thanks for more input.

My 05 mazda rx8 is stalling or turning of when i rev to hard.?

I have a 2005 mazda rx8. When i drive if i dont go very slow untill the rpms get higher (maybe 4-6 thousand) then the car will literally creep across the road or even just shut off on me. This happens as i try to give the car some gas. It seems like the car doesnt recoignize that my foot is pedal to the metal and when my foot is all the way down i will still only be in 1st gear at about 3000 rpms. all this with my foot to the floor. Now if i wait a little bit and start off slow until it is in higher gears and/or higher rpms it does mostly fine. sometimes a lil slow or jerky but nothing compared to if i try and drive fast. ive taken it to manly places but either i get "we cant figure it out" or they fix somthing and the problem persists. Can anyone help me please???? i love my car and dont want to have to sell it away!!!!

My bluetooth will not connect with my phone :(?

i recently got a motorola h700 bluetooth to use with my motorola rzr phone. I was able to at first connect with my phone and be able to use th bluetooth just fine. Can a recovering alcoholic use marijuana safely in moderation?

My brother is a recovering alcoholic and has been sober for over 5 years. He has insomnia and suffers from chronic back pain, many pain meds and sleeping medications are not an option for him because they work off of many of the same receptors that alcohol does. (while marijuana does not and has a much lower abuse potential) I was wondering if anyone has a personal or expert advice in regards to recovering alcoholics using marijuana to treat such issues. Just to be clear this is severe chronic back pain, including degenerative disk disease in conjunction with two severely herniated disks between the L5, S1 and L4, L5. I understand many may not agree with the marijuana as an option, if that is the case please suggest other options. As of now his pain specialist wishes to put him on opioid pain medication which I feel is a far worse option.

I have a great husband who works hard to give me everything I could want and need in my life. He is there for me emotionally when he can not be here with me physically. My ear is really really blocked? How do I unblock it?

Last night I was on my laptop and all of a sudden my left ear became blocked. I thought it would pop by itself within a few minutes but it hasn't gone yet. I went to sleep with it, and I woke up in the middle of the night hearing a bit of a crackle and it was unblocked, but when I woke up this morning my ear was blocked again. I've tried yawning, sneezing, holding my nose and blowing and it just doesn't work. I can hear myself speak more than when it's unblocked, I can hear my mouth much better... but it's so bloody ANNOYING! Hi, I feel really bad. At the start of college, having came out of secondary school doing well whilst those who bullied me nd left me out for 5 years failed, i really came in to college confident nd with all the eneegy to work, i wanted to get along with people but didnt really think i needed friends. I admit i was very naive then. Because I was used to my being a loner and lacked appropriate social skills such as been considerate of others in my surrounding when i said things about myself which might have caused jealousy or not speaking up when people judge me on the basis of my appearance alone, asking me why i always looked prepared for life and always dress up, this is from girls i think when they started hating on me i should have spoke out nd when they started hating that i got better grades than them or that a specific boy that ond of them liked got on better with me. After getting ABB, in the two B's i was one and two off an A, i was sincerely disappointed because the B's were two off an A but they did worse nd so they started treating me differently focusing on how much i studied. I sensed the hatred but i didnt want to bring anything up because i said to myself id left all the fights in secondary school.Before the summer exams, i knew i didnt quite get the DNA based module and organic chemistry nd sorta panicked, did excessive revision for it but only came out with mediocre grades B and C much lower than i need for medicine, to make things worse i was naive enough to take my coursework for granted because the teachers kept saying its only 20 percent and it shudnt matter but it got my overall grade down from B's to C's so that i ended up with ACC..i had gotten the reequired work experience nd really did love my subjects, particularly biology which i kept saying that i loved it but dont like the DNA module nd i think i did say to one of these girls who kept saying she doesnt like biology that why does she want to do medicine and i was admittedly over pionate about it too early, i have now leant that that can be a a dangerous thing. These girls have had sisters and friends go through a levels and were better prepared for the coursework aspect and managed to get B's in their biology and chemistry which meant they could be predicted an A whilst i was predicted B, consequently i couldnt apply for medicine nd they could, it was a painful experience nd although i kept trying to work, not having the right support around me in terms of friends, parents not fully understanding how i felt nd just pushing me to work harder without checking for my emotional wellbeing as a result of the setback, even Dad said to me that when am i going to prove myself that ill do well nd mum contributed to my confusion, i couldnt think properly about what to do next, i dont like the other sciences as they are all lab based nd didnt want to give up by doing something else so i applied for physiology but because of the uni fee rise nd the fact that it didnt feel right, i reapplied for my strong point economics in hope of doing grad medicine, offcourse these girls took the opportunity to rub it in my face all the time nd the worst part is that in all my lessons there is one of them nd im not very gd with bitching about them....somehow i ***** find the technique of revising to get the grades i wanted in coursework nd other exams..nd the second jan exams this yr, i put in great amount of effort despite struggling with burn out nd prayed a lot, hoping for a success after failure, it didnt come nd these girls rubbed it in more..i was getting bitter but i sorted that out now......i got really down nd had a break down because 2 weeks before those exams i fount out my aunt nd cousin are HIV positive nd 1 day before my biology exam i found out my mum had chronic hepatitis B...I felt a lot of heaviness like all parts of my life isnt going right but i decided to cry to let it out before my exams...but i think the pain was easily reflected on my face, my parents being how they are obviousltt gave the best advice they could about it not being an excuse to perform badly, my mum was so concerned she talked about it with me all the time, nd the negativity was getting to me but i understood her pain as her sister nd niece is also ill in the same period. You dont need to be a pro at college level but you must be at least an intermediate player. If the next match is on 6 sept i dont think you will be selected for your college team. You will need at least 2 to 3 years to play well and provided you have good ball sense. If you like tennis please take up this sport, i have played many sports like soccer, basketball, badminton and many others i still like tennis the most. Its not as easy as badminton cos its has more variety to the strokes than badminton, beside the forehand and backhand like badminton it has volley, slice,topspin and so on. it is definitely more complicated than you think. Anyway, try out the game i belive you will like it, love tennis, cheers!
